I orchestrate cloud transformations for Fortune 500 enterprises—combining the precision of an engineer, the adaptability of a performer, and the strategic vision of an executive partner.
My path from performing cellist to cloud transformation leader is unconventional by design. I’ve designed subsea pipelines in the Indian and Atlantic Oceans, built computer vision ML systems for geospatial asset management of powerlines and offshore assets, conducted string orchestras, performed in Classical and Jazz Orchestra’s (WAYJO, WAYO, UWA), and now lead enterprise cloud transformation programs while steering quarterly C-suite committees.
This diverse foundation gives me a unique ability to read stakeholders, navigate complexity, and deliver outcomes that matter.
I’ve spent my career moving between worlds that don’t usually overlap—performing cello, spraying shotcrete underground, designing subsea pipelines, building ML systems, leading cloud migrations. Each one taught me something different about solving hard problems.
Playing in jazz orchestras and managing a band taught me to read a room and adapt fast. When my band performed in front of a crowd that wasn’t feeling our original music. We pivoted mid-set to classic rock covers and brought in our comedian to turn it around. That same instinct applies when I’m in a steering committee with a CTO and the conversation isn’t landing—you adjust.
Seven months underground at a nickel mine taught me that operations doesn’t always mimic the design, and reality is always messier than theory. Later, designing subsea pipelines reinforced that lesson—it’s about balancing deep technical skills with speed while maintaining cost-efficient designs. I automated repetitive FEA work to reduce time to design, simplified complex systems in conservative ways to reduce design complexity, and contributed to design codes and standards through Hibernia and StablePipe work to influence the subsea pipeline industry.
Now at AWS, whether I’m presenting to 500 people or building GenAI tools for 150 accounts, the pattern holds: understand what’s needed, coordinate the right capabilities, deliver the outcome. I don’t manage transformations—I orchestrate them.
